The Cambridge-Oxford Owners Club are proud to have been asked by the Tal-y-llyn Railway to organise All vehicle and Autojumble entries for the 2008 Tom Rolt Rally which is held each year at The Merioneth County Show Field, Tywyn, Gwynedd. We would like to make this event one for all clubs whether car motor cycle or light commercial. Free of charge and have as big a display as you wish. Of course individual entries will be of equal importance and we would like to invite owners of any classic, vintage or custom car, motorcycle, light commercial or any other interesting vehicle to join us.

Sunday is a 75 mile classic car run around North Wales.
Monday is a static show attracting over 200 classic vehicles. Refreshments are available in the vicarage gardens, along with stalls, a live jazz band and children's entertainment.

I spend all year arranging a couple of transport events in Swansea. They are free to enter and attract a good number of vehicles and visitors.The next events are on 14th and 15th of June 2008 and include a road run and show.

The third ‘Haynes Village 100’ will be held on Sunday 22nd June 2008 in the Mid-Bedfordshire village of Haynes. It is a celebration of motoring through the last hundred years, the highlight of which is a ‘closed road’ parade around the village.
The 2007 event attracted over 120 vehicles including some very beautiful and rare examples. Visitors had the pleasure of seeing the vehicles parade the 2.7mile closed roads of the village, this combined with the static display proved to be a unique event that attracted a great number of people.
The 2008 event will follow a similar format with exhibitors being invited to display their vehicles in the playing field from 11.00am before embarking on the parade of the village perimeter through open countryside. Following the parade the vehicles will re-assemble on the playing field providing an opportunity to enjoy the rest of the event.
The wider event consists of an evening's entertainment, bands and refreshments in the Village Hall on the evening of Saturday June 21st. On the Sunday supporting the motoring display and parade, a village Gala with a variety of stalls, traders and other activities to create a family orientated and inclusive event.
We hope to be able to reflect the past 100 years of motoring history by showing examples from as many years as possible between 1908, or earlier, and 2008. The event is open to cars, motorcycles, light commercial and light agricultural vehicles, and possibly steam.
Entry to the event and parade will cost £5 and will include a light lunch for the entrant and one passenger, a commemorative plaque and an event programme.
The programme will, where possible, include a photograph of the vehicle and additional information including specification and year of registration. Please include with entry form.

This year will be the Fifth Year of the Elvetham Heath Car Show and is on July 20th, 2008.
The show has been organised to provide a great day out for all the family to see the finest motorcars on offer, from the latest Dealership models, Rallying, Prestige, and Race prepared, to the finest examples of historic sports cars.
Family entertainment including Fairground rides, kids Go-Carts, candy floss, burgers, hotdogs, beer tent, Golf challenges, etc, etc.
All the prizes will be raffled and monies raised will be split between the Macmillan Cancer Relief, and the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
Over the past four years we have been experiencing average public attendance of over 2000 people which is very encouraging.
Due to the feedback and more people involved with the planning and advertising, we are expecting over 3000+ visitors to attend this year.
This is a non profit event and free to enter.
